Coding and Robotics Programs – GearMinds Fall 2026

Our 18‑week Fall session begins mid‑August and delivers 18 weeks of  hands-on instruction through weekly 90‑minute classes (four per month). Designed for grades 2–10, all skill levels are welcome.

Robotics

Students learn coding and engineering fundamentals through hands-on interactions with educational robots and robotic kits that use block-based programming languages. These kits incorporate block-based programming languages, making it easier for young learners to grasp concepts in a fun and engaging way. This approach fosters creativity, critical thinking, and essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving and teamwork. Students build confidence and prepare for a future that demands technological proficiency.

Coding

GearMinds offers programming courses in Python and Java. The Python programming course is designed to help students prepare for the PCEP Certification. The Java programming course prepares students for the AP Computer Science A exam by providing practice with College Board-style problems, helping them build confidence and readiness for the test.

Robotics Competitions – Build more than Robots

FIRST is the world’s leading youth robotics community, that provides hands-on STEM learning. Students from around the globe participate in competitions that emphasize mentorship, teamwork, creativity, and engineering challenges. Since 2020, GearMinds has been mentoring teams to compete in FIRST competitions, and our teams have participated multiple times at the state level. The initial month’s fee is to be paid at the time of registration. Payment for the upcoming months is due at the beginning of each month.
